ABOUT THE AUTHOR


Dr. R. K. Shukla is Professor of Physics at the prestigious University of Lucknow in India, he has a teaching career spanning over thirty one years, which he carried out with involvement and dedication without any interruption. The long experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the interaction with them helped him to bring out ten textbooks till date. He has more than hundred research papers in the field of material science. Also he has guided many M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Prof. Shukla has two patents on refractometer sensor to his credit. He has established a thin and thick film laboratory in his department and presented papers at national and international conferences. He has successfully completed major research projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
