ABOUT THE AUTHOR


Dr. R. K. Shukla, Professor of Physics at the prestigious University of Lucknow, India, has a teaching career spanning over thirty-two years, which he carried out with unwavering involvement and dedication. His experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with his interaction with them, helped him to bring out ten textbooks to date. He has nearly two hundred research papers in the field of Material Science. Furthermore, he has guided many M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Prof. Shukla has two patents on refractometer sensor to his credit.

He has established a thin and thick film laboratory in his department and presented papers at national and international conferences. He has successfully completed major research projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and University Grants Commission, New Delhi and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
